About
Telecom signalling, security, and the people who depend on both.
I am a Solutions Engineer at Cellusys in Dublin, where we design, deploy and integrate telecom software that keeps mobile networks secure, efficient and intelligent. Our systems protect critical signalling traffic and give operators visibility, control and new commercial options across their networks.
My background is in software engineering, networking and telecom protocols, with hands-on experience across SS7, Diameter, GTP and 5G. Day to day that means leading deployments and integrations, testing interoperability against live operator estates, and acting as the technical link between the operator and our engineering teams — turning a complicated requirement into something a team can build and a customer can accept.
I care about the human side of engineering as much as the protocol stack. A deployment succeeds when the customer trusts the plan, understands the trade-offs and knows what happens next. A good deal of the value I add sits in exactly that space: translating between the network, the roadmap, and the people who have to live with both.
I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Dublin City University, where my final year project was an AI-driven SMS firewall for 5G networks. Outside work I box, I build websites for people I like, and I follow standards work more closely than is strictly necessary.
